The Get a Green Grip Peterborough campaign aims to encourage shoppers to swap single use plastic bags for reusable cotton bags.
Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) has launched the initial phase of this campaign. We hope it will grow and develop into something huge! If you would like to start your own Get a Green Grip campaign in your area contact us today to find out how we can help.
To make it easy to get the campaign going, we have developed the Get a Green Grip Peterborough logo. This logo will appear on the 5,000 natural cotton bags we will be giving out to encourage shoppers to stop using plastic bags.
We hope that any future 'ban the bag' campaign will make use of the same Get a Green Grip Peterborough branding - this will add to the overall effect of the campaign, and enthuse shoppers to change!
